Bill Clinton Raising Money for Hillary's Campaign: Duh?

Here's a story about Bill Clinton raising his speaking engagement fees in order to presumably fund his wife's campaign. It's despicable, of course, but well within our stupid campaign finance laws.

Here's a thought: Public money ONLY for campaigns. Everybody gets the same amount and can only spend X on television, print, other media. No gallivanting across the nation mucking it up with corn farmers.
