I have two immediate thoughts about this story: First, duh? Second, was Ford a coward? Why did he not let his comments out until after his death? What is the reasoning behind this?
I know that Ford made no enemies. He was a very likable guy, a statesman. Maybe that's why he conditioned his response to Bush's rationale (WMDs) for war on release only after his death. At least I hope that's why he did it.
