Syrian-born Canadian citizen tortured in, of all places, Syria!

Welcome home, comrade!

Seriously (or is it Syriously?), WTF? Guy gets stopped in a US airport, we ship him to Syria to be flogged.

Canada pays him $10 million for his troubles and apologizes (for what, I might add?).

USA does nothing, not even an apology. We get monkey girl saying his case was mishandled.

The Bush administration has not apologized. Arar's name remains on watch lists that forbid his entry into the United States.
And now, he most likely will never visit his neighbors to the south. Sad. We'll never get a dime of his prize money from Canada.
